We bought the NTK Colorado GT 8/9 to check the quality and performance of this tent before to order a large quantity that will be used in the Texas Pathfinder’s camporee (Seventh Day Adventist church youth ministry). We set this tent on our soccer field; Big opened area and this tent still up after 8 days with some moderated winds and rain. The full coverage rain fly, do not let any water get inside the tent and doubles access doors is really comfortable. You know what, this tent came with a lantern that has 3 different modes of lighting. Easy setup, good quality materials, nice carry bag with handles.
It is a really cheap tent for the design, quality materials and extras
we are in the process to order 14 more tents.

We already used these tents in our SDA Texas Pathfinder’s camporee and the tents responded as we expected.
We have some rain one night and water did not get inside the tents, no condensation neither. Wind were about 9-13 mph and tents always standing. Kids loved the lantern and easy setup.

I have never reviewed any product in my life, but his tent is amazing. My 88 year old partner and I went camping in a remote area of Wyoming. I was concerned about a couple of things. I am a 5 ft 6 inch 76 year old woman and the tent is 6.1 foot tall. However putting up the tent by myself was no problem…After setting up the tent, I just rolled up the rain fly into a tube and threw one end over the top of the tent. It stayed on top until I pulled down the sides.
Second …Wyoming is VERY windy and this is a tall tent. So I used all of the stakes to tie it down. For my first attempt, the tent almost buckled..The corner guys and stakes were too close to the tent. When I moved the the stakes with the guys several feet from the tent I was impressed that it withstood some very serious wind.
Then it hailed really hard for about 20 minutes.so.e were gold ballsized hail. We waited it out I side the car…I thought… well there goes the tent…but no.. it was still standing g within damage… . I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a tent from this company.. Their customer service and tent quality is stellar. I took a photo of the tent and hail. I hope it will be put up with this review

We bought our tent this year and used it on our first trip of 5 days of camping in Maine, We absolutely Loved this tent! we normally us a 2 person tent and with us being in our 50’s getting in and out of that tent can be challenging at times, After buying this tent and using a queen size air mattress, we had plenty of room for our gear, and then some, On our trip we encountered some heavy rain, thunder lightning, and some winds, Then some brief showers I have to say the tent never leaked, it was sturdy and we felt confident and comfortable.After researching many tents, I chose this tent because of the high tub flooring and that the rain fly covered, all the way down leaving no unprotected sides, other campers with name brand tents , were all drying their tents and gear after the storm had cleared. We look forward to next year, and using our tent again, we still need to practice getting everything back in the bag, but with more use we will do it. Thank you NTK and I would recommend your tents to the others that use the Big Name tents.

Purchased the NTK Colorado 8/9 tent early this year. We just used it for the first time this week camping in WNC on Lake Chatuge. I can not begin to express how impressed I am with this tent! Our first night we had storms and heavy rain. We stayed warm and dry. Day 3 also brought lower temps and more rain. This tent performed beyond my expectations. No drips, no leaks, no condensation. Zippers work excelletly, door and rainfly tiebacks are great, easy two person setup/take down, actually fits back into the carry bag too! It certainly performed well on our 5 day trip. Very roomy for 2 people We had plenty or room for our queen air mattress, gear, walking/standing room, and portable potty. We added a footprint tarp to protect the bottom, and also used large towels for interior floor protection. I did take the time to treat the entire tent and rainfly walls and seams with kiwi campdry spray during our initial trial setup although it was said to not be neccessary in any articles or reviews of this product. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase, the tent is as represented by the company, great details and value for the money, and customer service was wonderful dealing with a question I had right after recieving our product! Looking forward to our next trip!

I love this tent and I love this company. I have been an experienced outdoors man for more than a decade. I have had many tents over the years, but this brand stands out with me. 70 mph winds last weekend on the lake and rain blowing sideways and this tent stood its ground. So much in fact that my buddy ordered one on the spot and I also purchased a second so I would always have one in reserve. Thanks for keeping me dry.
