I bought this tent just a few weeks ago. I camp 5-6 times during hunting season and take 3-4 non-hunting trips during the year. I did extensive research and looked at about every tent brand available I think. I primarily camp on my own so I needed a tent that could meet these criteria: 1) Be big enough to handle a Queen Size Air Bed and lots of gear 2) Provide the best Water Protection possible 3) Easy Setup for 1 person and of course, 4) Cost. The tent is 14′ x 8′ and easily has room for a Queen Air Bed and lots of gear. I have used the tent twice now since I received it 3 weeks ago. The first time I had my niece and nephew to help me and last weekend I did it by myself at my hunting camp. In both cases, the tent went up easily without trouble. It took me about 15-20 minutes by myself, but I think as I get used to putting up the tent that will go down to 5-10 minutes. Of all of the brands I looked at, this tent had the 2nd best waterproofing at 2500 mm. There was one tent at 3000mm but it cost a couple of hundred dollars more. We had rain on the 2nd night of work weekend at hunt camp and the tent was dry as can be. It wasn’t a hard rain but I expect there to be no issues based on this first experience. For all of the features, this tent was less expensive than the other models I was looking at (Eureka, REI, Alps, Big Dog). I am just starting to use this tent so I may amend this initial impression, but the tent has decent air circulation but I might suggest getting a fan for help the airflow. Overall, I extremely pleased with my purchase and fully expect to be enjoying this tent for a long time to come.
Side Note: During my research, I got on the website to ask some question. I believe I instant messaged with the owner to ask some questions. He ended up calling me to answer my questions. It was extremely helpful and very appreciated. This commitment to Customer Service helped me to finalize my decision to purchase this tent from NTK.
